Instructions:
1. Prepare the Cantaloupe - Peel and remove the seeds from the cantaloupe. Chop into rough chunks. The riper the cantaloupe the sweeter and more flavorful the cooler will be.
2. Blend - Add the chopped cantaloupe and ice to a high-speed blender. If the blender struggles to get going, add up to 120ml of water to help it along. Blend on high until completely smooth with no ice chunks remaining.
3. Serve - Pour immediately into 2 glasses and serve straight away. The cooler will melt quickly so enjoy right away.
Storage:
- Best consumed immediately as the cooler melts and separates quickly.
- Pour any leftovers into a freezer-safe container and freeze for up to 1 day. Re-blend briefly before serving.
- Do not refrigerate as it will melt and lose its texture.
Swaps:
- Cantaloupe can be swapped for honeydew melon, watermelon, or mango for a different flavor.
- Ice can be replaced with frozen cantaloupe chunks for a thicker, more intense result.
- Water can be swapped for coconut water for a subtle tropical flavor.
- Add a handful of frozen pineapple or mango for a tropical twist.
