Instructions:
- Wash & Dry
Rinse the grapes thoroughly under cold water. Pat them completely dry with a clean towel to prevent ice crystals from forming. - Remove Stems
Pull the grapes off the stems and spread them out on a baking sheet or plate in a single layer. - Optional Flavor Boost
If using, toss the grapes with lemon juice, honey, and a pinch of sea salt for an extra flavor punch. - Freeze
Place the baking sheet or plate in the freezer for at least 3-4 hours or until the grapes are completely frozen. - Enjoy!
Transfer the frozen grapes to an airtight container or resealable bag for easy snacking. Eat them straight from the freezer for a refreshing, sorbet-like treat!
Variations & Tips:
- Coated Grapes: Before freezing, roll the grapes in Greek yogurt or melted chocolate for a decadent twist.
- Spiced Grapes: Sprinkle with cinnamon or Tajín seasoning before freezing for a unique flavor.
- Storage: Frozen grapes keep well for up to 3 months in the freezer.
Notes:
Dry the grapes completely before freezing — any moisture causes them to freeze together in a clump.
Freeze in a single layer on the baking sheet first before transferring to a bag. This keeps them separated and easy to grab a handful at a time.
Tips:
Seedless grapes work best. Red and black grapes tend to be sweeter and freeze more richly than green.
Storage:
Keep in an airtight bag or container in the freezer for up to 2 months. Best eaten straight from frozen.
Swaps:
Try the same method with blueberries, sliced bananas, or mango chunks for different frozen treats.
