Why These Ingredients
Common Mistakes, Notes, Prep in Advance, Storage, Swaps & Tips

Notes:

Let the raspberry syrup cool completely before adding sparkling water — warm syrup will cause the carbonation to fizz out violently.

Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve to remove all seeds for the smoothest result.

Tips:

Make a large batch of raspberry syrup and refrigerate it for up to 2 weeks. Mix to order for fresh soda anytime.

Storage:

The raspberry syrup keeps refrigerated in a sealed jar for up to 2 weeks. Assembled soda is best consumed immediately.

Swaps:

Raspberries can be swapped for strawberries, blackberries, or blueberries. Sparkling water can be replaced with tonic water for a slightly bitter note.
